Coordination with Local Agencies

Des Moines Public Schools is working closely with other local government agencies to provide temporary office and/or storage space. Current examples include:

• The Des Moines Police Department is being provided complete access to East High School for use as temporary offices;
• The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority is being provided both office space as well as bus parking at Lincoln High School;
• Efforts are being coordinated with Des Moines Water Works for possible temporary office space at a west-side school to be determined.
